After a weekend of extremely limited internet connection and a few technical issues on the blog, I can finally say the Giveaway Extravaganza and blogging are back!
Today's giveaway is another tool i've tried my hand at and have added to my keeper list! I used and reviewed the tangle teezer a week or so back and it definitely lives up to its claims; removing knots and tangles and giving one seriously smooth in shower detangling experience.
The lovely Stephenie, founder of Black & Brown [UK based company distributing organic and natural based brands throughout the UK, Europe and world], was kind enough to sponsor the Giveaway with not one but THREE Tangle Teezers! So if you want to save the dosh in your pockets for a rainy day then I guess this giveaway is for you!

ReplyDeletei detangle my hair best when its wet. once i've rinsed out my DC, I use a towel to soak up the excess water, spray my leave-in and detangle whilst wet, the leave-in and the DC soften my hair (esp new growth). using a small comb, i detanle in 4 sections from root to tip! its very time-consuming (and my arms usually feel like theyre about to drop off) but definitely works! :) ohh and i only detangle when my hair is wet!!

I detangle when my hair is damp and has a nice creamy conditioner in it. I use a wide tooth comb and my hands... My hair is never really tangled but if I have a difficult section I stand under the shower whilst detangling.

Right now I detangle my hair with my roommate's Denman brush. Lol I don't really like any of the comb's I have for detangling so I just use her brush. (keitakeita13@hotmail.com)
ReplyDeleteI know my answer will sound simplistic...but i love to use just water and TRESemmé natural conditioner and whatever leave in i can find and this usually does the job lool
ReplyDeleteInteresting post, this Tangle Teezer might work really well with the Take Down Remover cream for taking out braids, weaves, twists or natural dreadlocks easier, faster. It detangles very matted tangled hair easy and safely.
ReplyDeleteAnd the great part is they could use the Tangle Teezer on dry hair if they use the Take Down Remover Cream-instead of in the shower.
It also prevents hair breakage no matter how long your braids or weaves are in. It is great for women who are transitioning to natural hair from relaxers as well.
It is not a water based or glycerine based product-so it works on every type of hair texture, every head, every time.
You can get it in London at www.afrotherapy.com
I detangle my hair in sections with a wide tooth comb. rrgrice@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteFirst, I prepoo my hair with Optimum Care Anti Breakage Cream and extra virgin olive oil. I leave this on my hair for an hour. I then part my hair in four and then detangle each quarter in two. When I'm finish with each 1/8 (half of a quarter..lol) i twist the hair and place a clip on the end of the hair. i do this for each section. pretty tedious!
ReplyDeleteI detangle with loads of conditioner and a wide tooth comb. I would love to try the tangle teezer so fingers crossed I win..

ReplyDeleteI detangle my hair best with my wide tooth comb in sections and a lot of time on my hands because I have a large head of long, full hair so a lot of patience is needed! But I love it :D

I detangle my hair best with a paddle brush with condition(loving miss jessies rapid recovery treatment) on wet hair!
On wash day, I section my hair into 6 sections and oil it down with whatever oil I happen to grab from my hair section. I then detangle with my denman and twist it up. After I've washed it out, I detangle the ends again while my hair's full of conditioner.

I have a detangling spritz mix which consists of Tresemme Naturals conditioner, jojoba & castor oil, aloe vera juice & water. I spray sections of my hair and use my wide tooth comb to detangle my hair, then I use my denman to brush out any loose shed hair.
ReplyDeletei will speak for my little daughter, since detangling is her issue. she rarely lets me comb her hair, and i am sure the tangle tweezer is the answer to detangling. Ramdila, rada76@mail.ru
ReplyDeleteI split my hair in 4 sections and detangle my hair with 100% shea butter. I melt it in the microwave and lather it all over damp hair. Then I comb through with a wide tooth comb.
