Had really hoped to jump back on Youtube with a bang but it seemed my new camera was not feeling the same way! Anyway I still hustled and managed to put an update video together!
I've been following your blog for a while but this was my first time seeing a video of yours - you have the cutest personality. Congrats on your graduation and your new job.. AND on your transition. Your hair is beautiful. Continued success on your healthy hair journey :)
I am also transitioning and I find curlynikki to be a wealth of information on managing your natural tresses. Also, I once saw a video on youtube on straightening your hair with a roller set,it helps blend your new growth with the rest of your head without heat, you might want to try that.
Hey Fiona, lovely to see you back vlogging/blogging. Check out http://www.thenaturalhavenbloom.com and http://www.youtube.com/user/kimmaytube/videos?sort=dd&flow=grid&view=0&page=4 very useful for transitioning and curly hairstyle tips.
Love this video!! I feel you are my transitioning buddy lol (even though im 6 months post).. since I started looking at natural hair youtubers, blogger etc.. i havent really found anyone who is stil transitioning.. :/ Im currently wearing the same bun as you and I also feel that it really makes my hair straight.. almost too straight. Since i started transitioning ive used zero heat and I can't wait til my whole hair is curly! :) xx
Congrats on getting this far hun, it is so great that you haven't used heat. I wasnt as successful with that but thank God my hair is still doing great! I can't wait either! I just need a little bit of length before I feel ready enough for the chop! Stay in touch :)
That twist out bang is the business
ReplyDeleteHaha isn't it just! I need to have it as my staple!
